even after eight hundered years ..it is amazing ....initially the reader gets agitated ...but gradually the quality of the translation and content get better....i am glad penguin published it...i hope to read more of attar
It is really a pleasure and full of wisdom to read this unique book.It has nothing in common with our today's view, and yet, it is wonderfull and richful
Even though I am a decendant of Farid Ud Din Attar, I can say without bias that this book is excellent. A must read, filled with many lessons and hidden analects.
One of the best books I have ever read. The passages makes you consider aspects of Devine Love is such a way that one is just not capable of denying the logic.
A 'must read' for anyone seeking a real understanding of the human condition.
